† What happened to FrontPage and FrontPage extensions?After nine years of being a popular Web authoring tool, FrontPage was discontinued by Microsoft in 2006. Effective June 30, 2006 support for the Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions for UNIX was also stopped by Microsoft. There are no plans for a FP2003 Server Extensions for UNIX release. Please refer to Microsoft for additional information. You may continue to use the FPSE kit that you have previously installed. There will be no future releases, bug fixes or security patches.

The FrontPage® 2002 Server Extensions
In order to use Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002 in conjunction with your FreeBSD
Basic account, the FrontPage® 2002 Server Extensions must be installed and enabled
for your account. We support the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions in their entirety and provide them to
you completely free of charge.
If you selected the Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002 Server Extensions when you
originally ordered your account, the Server Extensions are pre-installed and ready to use. See the
instructions below for connecting to your FrontPage Server.
If you did not select Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002 Server Extensions when you
ordered your account and would like to add them, simply contact our
Service
Department to have them installed.
