Server Software Update Notification: 03-13-2008
The following emergency updates were completed between Tuesday and Wednesday (3/11/2008 - 3/12/2008) on all servers on the
following platforms:
Linux MPS/VPS, FreeBSD MPS/VPS v3, FreeBSD MPS/VPS v2:
- CPX 1.5.8
- CPX 1.5.8 resolves several outstanding issues related to different language display, special characters, user
information display, and user removal. Issues resolved include the following:
- Problems listing users and their associated domains.
- Mail tab/link visible to end users without Webmail client privileges.
- Use all characters--instead of the first eight only--when creating passwords.
- Problems with the Chinese language.
- Several issues with Japanese language display.
- Improved display of user privileges.
- Improved email address validation.
- Problems with special characters in autoreply messages.
- Problems when removing an end user prefix.
- Problems when removing domain administrators with domains associated with them.
The reason for the emergency update is due to the problems listing users and their associated domains in CPX was impacting
a large number of customers.
