Open WebMail


Open WebMail Open WebMail is a webmail system designed to manage very large mail folder files in a memory efficient way. It also provides a range of features to help users migrate smoothly from Microsoft Outlook to Open WebMail.

Installation

To install Open Webmail on the VPS v2/v3 server, connect to the server via SSH, su to root, and run the following command:
# vinstall openwebmail

Usage

Open Webmail will create a directory called openwebmail in your main cgi-bin directory. To access Open Webmail from a browser you would use a url similar to the following:
# http://YOUR-DOMAIN.NAME/cgi-bin/openwebmail/openwebmail.pl
The output from the vinstall will give you the exact url to use. The first time you login to Open Webmail you will asked to setup your user's preferences such as language, timezone, and signature.
